A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Vigilância Sanitária, da Secretaria de Saúde (SES), em parceria com o Grupo de Vigilância Sanitária Estadual (GVS), reuniu nos dias 14 e 15 de outubro, representantes de saúde dos municípios da Região Metropolitana de Sorocaba (RMS) para a 2ª edição da Oficina Regional de Gerenciamento de Risco Sanitário, realizada no auditório do Banco de Olhos de Sorocaba (BOS).
O objetivo da iniciativa é discutir, atualizar e fortalecer as ações da Vigilância Sanitária, proporcionando um ambiente com troca de experiências e conhecimento entre os profissionais.
Participaram da abertura do evento as seguintes autoridades: Dra. Priscila Feliciano, secretária municipal da Saúde (SES); Elizeu Diniz, diretor técnico do GVS; Sonia Maria de Andrade, diretora do GVS Sorocaba e Mario Bastos, gestor de Vigilância em Saúde da SES Sorocaba.
Ao longo dos dois dias, os encontros contaram com palestras de Rosângela Aparecida Malavazi e Eddie Alonso (GVS XIII Sorocaba); Heloisa Imperial (Sersa/GVS XIII Sorocaba); Maria do Carmo Benício (GVS XIII Sorocaba); Dra. Cristina Palma, promotoria de Justiça de Sorocaba; Lilyan Cristina Rocha (GVS XVI Botucatu) e Laura Virginia Pereira Narvaes (Instituto Adolfo Lutz Sorocaba).
