O Dia dos Avós, celebrado neste sábado (26), inspirou a programação especial oferecida pelo Clube do Idoso, nesta sexta-feira (25). Assim, frequentadores do Clube e também da Chácara do Idoso, além do Centro Dia do Idoso, lotaram o salão do equipamento, que fica no bairro Pinheiros e é gerido pela Secretaria da Cidadania (Secid) da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, para festejar a data entre amigos. Muito levaram também familiares, principalmente os netos.
Todos foram recepcionados com um café da manhã especial e, em seguida, puderam prestigiar a récita de poesia, de autoria de um dos frequentadores, e também as apresentações musicais do grupo Mistura Fina, formado por frequentadores da Chácara do Idoso. Ainda, foi feita uma sessão de fotos, para os convidados levarem a recordação deste dia para casa. Além de outras atividades de lazer, como dança, gincana e brincadeiras.
“Organizamos com muito carinho esta atividade para nossos vovôs e vovós, com o objetivo de homenagear essas pessoas que são fundamentais na história de vida de cada um de nós, deixando a todos um legado de amor, carinho e cuidado”, disse a secretária da Cidadania, Ana Cláudia Fauaz, que também participou da ação.
De segunda a sexta-feira, o Clube e a Chácara do Idoso oferecem gratuitamente uma extensa programação de atividades de lazer, esporte, saúde, integração social e cultura, voltadas para a terceira idade. Para ser sócio é necessário ter mais de 55 anos, morar em Sorocaba, levar uma foto 3×4 recente, comprovante de endereço atual, RG, CPF e atestado médico para a prática de atividades físicas.
O Clube do Idoso está localizado na Rua Padre Lara de Moraes, s/n, em Pinheiros, e funciona de segunda a sexta-feira, das 7h às 17h. Mais informações podem ser obtidas pelo telefone: (15) 3233-9014.
