Durante patrulhamento preventivo pela Avenida Dr. Ulysses Guimarães, no Parque das Laranjeiras, Zona Norte da cidade, uma equipe da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Sorocaba localizou, às 8h30 desta sexta-feira (26), duas motocicletas furtadas.
Os GCMs foram acionados por um munícipe que havia localizado, por meio de rastreador, sua motocicleta Yamaha MT03, de cor cinza. No local indicado, além do veículo recuperado, os guardas encontraram outra moto abandonada em área de mata. Era uma Triumph Speed 4000, vermelha, que também constava como produto de furto.
A ocorrência foi comunicada ao Centro de Controle Operacional Integrado (CCOI) e ao delegado de plantão, que solicitou a remoção dos veículos, por guincho, até a unidade da Polícia Civil. Após os procedimentos legais, as motos foram restituídas aos seus proprietários.
A ação reforça o compromisso da GCM em atuar de forma preventiva e no apoio à população, contribuindo para a segurança da comunidade.
