Inúmeros sorocabanos participaram, nesta quinta-feira (20), entre 13h e 21h, no Parque das Águas, da Feira Crespa 2025, uma iniciativa da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Cultura (Secult) e da Secretaria da Cidadania (Secid), em alusão ao Dia da Consciência Negra (20 de novembro).
O evento, que já se tornou tradicional na cidade, atraiu centenas de pessoas no Parque das Águas, com apresentações musicais, além do comércio de produtos artesanais e culinária típica, que contribuem para o resgate da cultura afrobrasileira.
O intuito da Feira Crespa, que contou com a presença do secretário interino de Cultura, Thiago Delmonde, foi de reunir empreendedores de Sorocaba, dando visibilidade à sua arte, profissão e colaboração social, além de promover o conhecimento e a valorização da cultura negra.
Quem foi ao Parque das Águas pôde se deliciar com um cardápio especial, que incluía acarajé, bolinho caipira, pastel, lanches, churros, churrasco, entre outros. Já entre os produtos artesanais, o público pôde adquirir roupas, incensos, bolsas, objetos decorativos e muito mais.
Melquisedeque Luiz da Silva e Bruno Gregório participaram como expositores da Feira Crespa. Eles levaram a confecção própria Soul Buntu, com batas, camisetas e camisas feitas com tecido africano. O trabalho, segundo eles, começou em 2018 apenas para os amigos e, desde 2022, a produção se ampliou e a marca vem percorrendo feiras culturais da cidade. “Participamos de outras feiras, como a Oca Cultural e a do Quintal da Vó, mas essa é nossa primeira vez na Feira Crespa. Está show de bola”, comentou Bruno Gregório.
Durante toda a Feira Crespa, também tiveram apresentações musicais com o DJ set O Barbosa, a cantora e DJ JUIA, a DJ set Bianca Rodrigues, All Style, North Rock, Alex Manifesto, Bando Maré de Março e Slam 015.
A vendedora Ana Cristina Marques prestigiou a Feira Crespa, ao lado dos filhos Pedro e Laura. “Essa é a terceira vez que participamos da Feira Crespa e está tudo muito gostoso. Esta data é especial para todos nós. Aqui sempre encontramos os amigos e prestigiamos o trabalho deles”, comentou a moradora.
O Dia da Consciência Negra marca o aniversário da morte de Zumbi, líder da revolução do Quilombo dos Palmares, marco da luta pelos direitos dos negros no país. Em Sorocaba, a data é instituída pela Lei Municipal nº 8.120/2007.
