O Paço Municipal foi palco, na tarde deste sábado (23), do evento Féstival “Adora Sorocaba”, que reuniu cerca de 40 mil pessoas no estacionamento frontal da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, localizado no bairro Alto da Boa Vista, Zona Leste da cidade. A iniciativa é voltada às expressões culturais cristãs e e realizada em várias cidades do Estado de São Paulo.
O evento é promovido pelo Governo do Estado, por meio da Secretaria da Cultura, Economia e Indústria Criativas, com produção da Associação Paulista dos Amigos da Arte (APAA) e apoio da Prefeitura de Sorocaba. Os participantes contaram com shows gratuitos para toda a população, com grandes nomes do segmento cristão no Brasil.
O encontro também contou com espaço imersivo para vivências ligadas à fé, além da distribuição de 10 mil coxinhas da Padaria Real.
A promeira-dama e presidente do Fundo Social de Solidariedade (FSS), Sirlange Frate Maganhato, esteve presente no evento representando o prefeito Rodrigo Manga. “Me sinto muito feliz em participar deste momento repleto de fé e positividade, recepcionando tantas pessoas, de todas as faixas etárias. Isso mostra o poder da união cristã na cidade, que cresce forte sempre no coração dos sorocabanos”, disse.
A Prefeitura de Sorocaba ofereceu diferentes atividades e serviços ao público. A Secretaria de Esporte e Qualidade de Vida (Sequav) realizou oficinas esportivas a crianças, jovens e adultos. A Secretaria de Cultura, por sua vez, comandou atividades como o xadrez gigante e teatro de fantoches. Já a Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Sema) distribuiu mudas de árvores nativas da região.
Às 16h, o grupo 3 Palavrinhas subiu ao palco com canções voltadas ao público infantil. A funcionária pública Ana Cristina Proença, de 46 anos, veio com o neto Gael, de quatro anos. Para ela, a iniciativa é excelente, que visa atender um público muito grande da cidade. “Trouxe ele, junto com a amiguinha Rafaela, de 10 anos, pois eles gostam muito de musicas desse estilo, como a do grupo”, relata.
Às 18h, Paulo Cesar Baruk apresentou alguns de seus vinte títulos lançados. Já às 19h30, o cantor Victin animou o público do evento. Por fim, às 21h, Cassiane cantou seus sucessos, como o hit “500 Graus”.
Também estiveram presentes os secretários de Segurança Urbana (Sesu), João Alberto Corrêa Maia; da Educação (Sedu), Clayton Lustosa; de Governo (Segov), Samyra Toledo; de Comunicação (Secom), Lucas Pedrozo; e de Empreendedorismo, da MicroempresaedaEmpresadePequenoPorte (Semepp), Fernando Marques. Já o Poder Legislativo foi representado pelo presidente da Câmara Municipal, vereador Luís Santos; mais o vice-presidente da Câmara, Caio Oliveira.
