A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) foi acionada, via Centro de Controle Operacional Integrado (CCOI), por funcionários da unidade Pronto Atendimento (PA) do bairro Parque São Bento, na Zona Norte da cidade, às 21h56 de domingo (1º). A ocorrência de violência doméstica, seguida por movimento de legítima defesa, envolveu a vítima (uma mulher de 68 anos) e o acusado (de 67 anos).
A solicitação foi registrada pela recepção do PA, informando que o atendimento envolvia agressão mútua entre o casal. A mulher solicitou apoio da GCM, pois o agressor era atendido no mesmo local.
A equipe deslocou-se diretamente ao PA, onde fez contato com a vítima, que apresentava cortes e sangramento em um dos dedos da mão. Ela relatou que os ferimentos ocorreram em sua residência, após discussão com o companheiro, que a teria agredido com um espremedor de limão.
Ainda conforme o relato, na tentativa de se defender e cessar a agressão, a vítima reagiu com uma faca, ocasionando ferimento no agressor. O homem também foi localizado na mesma unidade de saúde, onde recebeu atendimento médico em razão de lesão na região do rosto.
Após a liberação médica, ambos foram conduzidos à Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM) de Sorocaba, onde a ocorrência foi apresentada à autoridade policial. O acusado foi encaminhado ao Plantão da Policial Civil, onde permaneceu preso pelo crime de violência doméstica. A vítima foi encaminhada a uma unidade de saúde, para continuidade dos cuidados médicos.
