A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Sorocaba deteve um jovem de 19 anos, que foi flagrado pelas câmeras de videomonitoramento durante ato de furto. Ele retirou os retrovisores de uma motocicleta da Administração Municipal, no estacionamento do Paço Municipal, no Alto da Boa Vista. O caso foi registrado às 15h de domingo (19).
Um guarda municipal que estava nas proximidades tentou abordar o suspeito, que fugiu levando os objetos. Durante as diligências, outro jovem que presenciou a ação informou aos GCMs que havia entrado em contato com o autor, orientando-o a devolver os itens.
Pouco tempo depois, o acusado retornou ao local, momento em que foi realizada a abordagem pela GCM. Com ele, foram encontrados os dois retrovisores da viatura pública. No momento da abordagem, o jovem demonstrou arrependimento e colaborou com a equipe.
O suspeito foi conduzido ao Plantão da Polícia Civil, onde permaneceu à disposição do delegado, que arbitrou fiança e, em seguida, o liberou. O rapaz responderá pelo crime de furto qualificado. Os retrovisores foram restituídos e ficaram aos cuidados do setor responsável pela zeladoria do Paço Municipal.
