A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Sorocaba deteve, na manhã de sábado (20), um homem de 49 anos de idade, por violação de medida protetiva judicial, que o impedia de se aproximar da ex-exposa. A própria vítima foi quem acionou a GCM, via aplicativo do programa Protege Mulher instalado em seu telefone celular, após ser perseguida pelo acusado.
Por volta das 8h50, a mulher informou que era perseguida pelo ex-companheiro, mesmo durante atendimento médico, caracterizando o descumprimento da medida protetiva vigente. Assim que recebeu a solicitação, o Centro de Controle Operacional Integrado (CCOI) acionou equipes da GCM, que foram ao local indicado e localizaram o autor.
Ele foi abordado e conduzido à Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM) de Sorocaba, enquanto a vítima também, mas em veículo separado, garantindo sua segurança e integridade. A ocorrência foi registrada como crime em flagrante delito e o acusado permaneceu preso, à disposição da Justiça.
O aplicativo Protege Mulher é destinado à proteção de vítimas de violência doméstica e que estão amparadas por medida judicial. “Casos como esse reforçam a eficácia dessa ferramenta eletrônica e o compromisso da GCM na proteção das vítimas de violência doméstica”, destaca o comandante da Corporação, Davi Dutra.
