Nesta quinta-feira (2), a Secretaria de Segurança Urbana (Sesu) de Sorocaba realizou uma megaoperação integrada na região central da cidade, com o objetivo de intensificar a segurança e a ordem pública. A ação marca a proximidade do período de fim de ano, marcado por maior circulação de pessoas e comércio aquecido.
A ação, denominada “Centro+Seguro”, contou com a participação de equipes da Guarda Civil Municipal, Secretaria de Mobilidade (Semob), Secretaria de Planejamento e Desenvolvimento Urbano (Seplan), além das equipes de programa HumanizAção e do Serviço de Obras Sociais (SOS). A operação foi realizada em dois períodos – manhã e tarde – e envolveu bloqueios viários e fiscalização em pontos estratégicos da área central.
No total, 87 veículos foram fiscalizados, resultando em 19 autuações de trânsito. Sete veículos foram recolhidos, por apresentarem irregularidades que não foram sanadas no local.
Durante a ação, a equipe de fiscalização da Seplan vistoriou seus pousadas. Dessas, uma foi notificada pelo vencimento do alvará de funcionamento, três por ausência da licença e duas multadas pela mesma irregularidade.
As equipes de Humanização realizaram 15 abordagens a pessoas em situação de rua. Seis delas aceitaram os serviços oferecidos e foram encaminhadas ao albergue do SOS. Outras duas aceitaram ajuda e serão direcionadas a clínicas de reabilitação para dependentes químicos.
A megaoperação reforça a atuação integrada entre os órgãos da Prefeitura e demonstra o compromisso com a segurança pública, especialmente neste período de festas, quando há aumento significativo na movimentação no centro da cidade. A iniciativa visa oferecer um ambiente mais seguro, organizado e acolhedor para moradores, comerciantes e visitantes.
