A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Sorocaba localizou, dentro de uma residência no Parque Vitória Régia, Zona Norte da cidade, uma motocicleta que era produto de furto. Os guardas realizavam patrulhamento preventivo pelo bairro e, por volta das 14h20 de sábado (20), foram acionados por um operador de sistema de rastreamento, que apontou o local onde o veículo estaria.
A guarnição deslocou-se até o endereço indicado e contatou o proprietário do imóvel. Nos fundos havia outra moradia, que estava alugada para dois inquilinos. Dentro dela, pela porta da cozinha, os guardas avistaram a motocicleta.
O veículo foi retirado do local e houve a confirmação que ele havia sido furtado naquela mesma data, pela manhã, no bairro Altos do Itavuvu. O caso foi registrado no Plantão da Polícia Civil e os dois suspeitos não foram localizados. Após registro do boletim de ocorrência, a moto acabou devolvida ao seu legítimo proprietário, vítima do furto.
