A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), entregou, na tarde desta terça-feira (5), a implantação de um playground, além de passeio público, bancos, gramado e iluminação pública em LED, em área pública na Rua Afrânio Peixoto com a Rua Waldemar Michelacci, na Vila Louzada.
As obras foram executadas pela empresa W2 Engenharia e Consultoria Ltda., sob a supervisão da Serpo, com recursos viabilizados a partir de emendas parlamentares do vereador Caio Oliveira.
O objetivo do Poder Público foi de proporcionar lazer e mais oportunidades de convívio em uma área harmoniosa, atrativa e segura para os moradores, promovendo mais qualidade de vida aos munícipes.
“Além do playground, entregamos obras importantes de infraestrutura para revitalização do local, como o passeio público e iluminação em LED, que traz mais segurança e valorização para quem mora nesta região”, disse o prefeito Rodrigo Manga.
“Estamos muito felizes aqui com essa importante obra, feita com emendas do vereador Caio Oliveira. Esses recursos são muito importantes para a revitalização de espaços públicos como esse, que agora está harmonioso”, comentou o secretário de Serviços Públicos e Obras, Darwin de Almeida Rosa.
Também estiveram presentes os secretários Lucas Pedrozo (Comunicação), Carlos Alberto Correa Maia (Segurança Urbana), Carlos Eduardo Paschoini (Mobilidade), Ana Cláudia Fauaz (Cidadania), Evandro Bueno (Gabinete Central) e os vereadores Caio de Oliveira e Rogério Marques, além de lideranças locais.
Na ocasião, os moradores tiveram a oportunidade de participar do Mercado Solidário, iniciativa do Fundo Social de Solidariedade (FSS), que oferece itens básicos para o cotidiano das famílias. Puderam levar para casa, sem custo algum, os produtos que mais agradavam e atendiam às necessidades de cada família e residência, como arroz, feijão, macarrão, molho de tomate, óleo, leite, achocolatado, café, farinha de trigo, açúcar, entre outros. Já o vereador Rogério Marques levou o projeto Quitanda Solidária, oferecendo frutas e legumes à população.
