Com o objetivo de conscientizar a população sobre as ISTs (Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis), a Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio do Centro Municipal de Atenção Especializada (CMAE), da Secretaria da Saúde (SES), realizará, neste domingo (22), das 8h às 13h, na Feira da Barganha, uma ação para oferecer testes rápidos que servem para diagnosticar casos de HIV, Sífilis e Hepatites B e C.
Durante a ação, também haverá distribuição de preservativos, autotestes, folders com orientações e coleta de material para diagnóstico de tuberculose.
Os testes rápidos são simples. É coletado sangue da ponta do dedo e o resultado fica pronto entre 15 e 20 minutos, servindo para diagnosticar os casos virais. Os pacientes positivados dessa ação serão imediatamente agendados para iniciar o tratamento no CMAE, situado na Rua Manoel Lopes, 220, na Vila Hortência, seguindo todos os protocolos de sigilo para tanto.
A Feira da Barganha fica localizada na Alameda do Horto, 144, no Caguaçu, Zona Norte da cidade.
