A Prefeitura de Sorocaba realizou uma megaoperação integrada de segurança em área verde na Rua Washington Aparecido de Oliveira, no Jardim Residencial Deolinda Guerra, Zona Oeste da cidade. A ação foi coordenada pela Secretaria de Segurança Urbana (Sesu) e teve início às 13h desta terça-feira (9). Ela prosseguiu até o fim do dia, envolvendo também equipes de outras secretarias municipais. Na ocasião, foram providenciados serviços de zeladoria no bairro.
A iniciativa mobilizou cinco viaturas da GCM, mais uma da Ronda Municipal (Romu), duas vans do programa “HumanizAção”, uma do Serviço de Obras Sociais (SOS), um caminhão e uma retroescavadeira, além de 25 servidores públicos, para realizar averiguações, coibir a criminalidade e eventuais irregularidades administrativas, bem como fazer abordagens sociais e o mapeamento de pessoas em situação de rua.
No local, foram realizados 1.500 metros quadrados de limpeza e roçagem. Além disso, foi recolhido um caminhão cheiro de materiais inservíveis, entre eles, colchões e papelão molhados, pedaços de móveis apodrecidos, vegetação e entulhos.
Na área verde, foi abordado um adolescente de 16 anos que era procurado pela Justiça. Com ele, foram encontradas 313 porções de cocaína, 54 de maconha e 530 de crack, além de R$ 1.465 em dinheiro. O jovem acabou encaminhado à Delegacia da Infância e Juventude (Diju), ficando à disposição da Justiça, pois tinha mandado de apreensão para recolhimento à Fundação Casa.
“Megaoperações como essa têm sido realizada em várias regiões da cidade, para garantir todo o trabalho do Poder Público Municipal à população sorocabana, coibindo ocorrências nos locais visitados. Graças a essa ação, mantemos a segurança controlada, bem como o serviço de zeladoria em dia, tornando o município sempre mais seguro”, disse o secretário da Sesu, João Alberto Corrêa Maia.

Em relação ao “HumanizAção”, a população pode colaborar com as atividades do programa, informando os locais da cidade onde haja pessoas em situação de rua, necessitando de cuidados e acolhimento, assim como doando roupas, cobertores e alimentos.
