A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria do Turismo (Setur), promoveu o lançamento do projeto “Rolê”, na tarde da última segunda-feira (1º), com estudantes da E.E. “Professora Fernanda de Camargo Pires”, localizada na Vila Barão.
Trata-se de um passeio turístico pedagógico que visa apresentar o município a bordo do ônibus turístico da Setur, passando pelas rotas histórica, ferroviária, ambiental, esportiva ou cultural. Sob a orientação de servidores públicos municipais, a história do desenvolvimento da cidade pode ser vista de maneira contemplativa pelas ruas e em paradas estratégicas.
O ponto de partida e chegada se deu na unidade escolar e a rota escolhida para o passeio foi a esportiva. O grupo visitou o Ginásio Municipal de Esportes “Dr. Gualberto Moreira”, o Parque Natural dos Esportes “Chico Mendes”, o Centro Esportivo “André Matiello” (Pinheiros) e o Estádio Municipal “Walter Ribeiro” (CIC).
Durante o trajeto, receberam informações e viram a prática de algumas modalidades esportivas, como o futebol, o basquete, o vôlei, o bicicross e a corrida esportiva. Os alunos fizeram, ainda, um piquenique na Casa do Turista, localizada no bairro Santa Rosália.
De acordo com o secretário do Turismo, Hudson Pessini, o turismo é uma poderosa ferramenta para o desenvolvimento local e sua relevância o torna ainda mais evidente quando consideramos o potencial do município. “A cidade, com seus diversos atrativos turísticos, oferece uma rica variedade de atividades, espaços para o entretenimento e lazer, tanto para os munícipes de Sorocaba quanto para os turistas que visitam a cidade”, explica.
O técnico de recreação em lazer da Setur, Márcio Celestino, entende que a oportunidade possibilita acesso aos estudantes ao patrimônio do município. “A proposta é sensibilizar, de maneira lúdica, esses estudantes, apresentando os locais, dando-lhes informação, conhecimento e a real sensação de pertencimento”, destaca.
A professora Débora Domingues Olmo da Silva, que acompanhou o grupo ao lado da professora Manuelle Cristine de Oliveira Custódio, considerou positiva a participação dos estudantes. “A visita guiada a pontos estratégicos da cidade superou as expectativas. A experiência foi marcante e inesquecível para eles, que puderam ter um outro olhar sobre Sorocaba, uma nova perspectiva da cidade onde vivem”, disse.
