A Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) Éden, gerida pela Santa Casa de Misericórdia, com apoio da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria Municipal da Saúde (SES), anunciou, na manhã deste sábado (26), uma série de melhorias na unidade.
Dentre as execuções, a fachada foi revitalizada, as áreas internas e externas foram pintadas, os pisos foram trocados, a área de triagem dos pacientes foi reformada e as salas foram ampliadas.
Além disso, novos banheiros foram construídos e houve melhorias na farmácia, sala de medicação infantil e adulto e iluminação em toda unidade. O investimento custou em torno de R$ 700 mil e contou, além de recursos municipais, com a contribuição da Câmara Municipal por meio de emenda parlamentar.
“Essa iniciativa mostra muito respeito com as pessoas que trabalham na UPA e um grande respeito com os munícipes que usam a unidade. Essa aplicação da Santa Casa traduz um verdadeiro amor com a população, demonstrado por esse cuidado, zelo e segurança da administração feita pelo padre”, pontua o prefeito Rodrigo Manga.
O gestor da Santa Casa de Misericórdia, Padre Flávio Jorge Miguel Júnior ressalta a importância das revitalizações. “É um desafio muito grande realizar esses reparos, ampliações, além das melhorias técnicas e mais humanizadas. Por isso essa entrega é tão especial”, afirma.
A secretária da Saúde (SES), Dra. Priscila Feliciano, ressaltou a importância da parceria entre o Município e a Santa Casa. “Sem dúvida, esse trabalho conjunto vem colhendo grandes frutos e juntos temos certeza que superaremos todos os desafios que virão”, diz.
Também estiveram no evento, os secretários municipais, Evandro Bueno, do Gabinete Central e Lucas Pedrozo, de Comunicação (Secom), além dos vereadores João Donizeti, Fernando Dini, Izídio de Brito e Iara Bernardi.
