A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Sorocaba recuperou, na Zona Oeste da cidade, um veículo furtado. O automóvel foi identificado na noite de terça-feira (21), pelas câmeras do sistema de monitoramento Smart Sampa Sorocaba, e o condutor, de 26 anos de idade, acabou preso em flagrante pelos guardas, por receptação.
O videomonitoramento identificou o veículo Fiat Palio, de cor verde, com registro de furto, circulando pela Avenida Santa Cruz. Os GCMs que atuam no Centro de Controle Operacional Integrado (CCOI), de imediato, acionaram equipes da Corporação que faziam patrulhamento preventivo nas proximidades.
Por volta das 23h30, os guardas localizaram o automóvel na Avenida Dr. Armando Pannunzio, no Jardim Piazza Di Roma, onde foi realizada a abordagem. Durante a revista pessoal, nada de ilícito foi encontrado com o condutor, que relatou ter adquirido o veículo há cerca de um mês, em troca de uma motocicleta, sem informar detalhes sobre a negociação.
O indivíduo recebeu voz de prisão e foi conduzido ao Plantão da Polícia Civil, ocasião em que o delegado determinou o registrou de boletim de ocorrência de Receptação/Localização e Apreensão de Veículo. Foi arbitrada fiança no valor de R$ 1.500, porém o suspeito permaneceu detido, à disposição da Justiça.
