A equipe Prefeitura de Sorocaba/Ghimper Academia, comandada pelo professor Vladimir de Godoi e mantida pela Liga Sorocabana de Boxe e Artes Marciais (Lisoboxe), conquistou, no último sábado (18), cinco medalhas, sendo três de ouro e duas de prata, na etapa do Circuito de Esporte Escolar da FEDEESP (Federação do Desporto Escolar do Estado de São Paulo), no Centro Esportivo Duque de Caxias, no Guarujá (SP).
A competição foi uma oportunidade para que crianças e adolescentes de Sorocaba vivenciassem o ambiente oficial de competição no boxe paulista.
Os campeões foram Ana Eliza Moreno Rodrigues, Mizael Feitosa da Silva e Anderson Ryan dos Santos Pedro. Já as medalhas de prata ficaram com Gustavo Ryan Marcondes Telles e Leonardo Augusto Rosa Filho.
No Infantil Feminino até 48 kg, Ana Eliza Moreno Rodrigues enfrentou Geovanna Vitória de Oliveira e venceu por decisão unânime.
No Infantil masculino até 54 kg, Gustavo Ryan Marcondes Telles enfrentou Josué Rocha de Jesus e foi superado por decisão unânime, ficando com a medalha de prata.
Na categoria Infantil Masculino até 75 kg, Sorocaba teve uma situação rara e muito positiva: uma decisão entre dois atletas do próprio trabalho da Lisoboxe. Anderson Ryan dos Santos Pedro enfrentou Leonardo Augusto Rosa Filho, em uma final totalmente ligada ao projeto sorocabano. Anderson venceu por decisão unânime e ficou com o ouro, enquanto Leonardo garantiu a prata.
No Cadete Masculino até 57 kg, Mizael Feitosa da Silva enfrentou Mickael Angelo e venceu por decisão unânime, conquistando mais um ouro para Sorocaba.
“Fiquei muito feliz com os resultados e com a quantidade de medalhas conquistadas pela nossa equipe. São alunos com pouquíssima experiência e pouco tempo de treino, mas que fizeram bonito no ringue. O desempenho dos nossos meninos e meninas foi acima da minha expectativa e confirma a qualidade que temos para trabalhar com os sorocabanos, especialmente no Boxe”, destacou Vladimir de Godoi.
