A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria da Cidadania (Secid), realizou, na última sexta-feira (26), a Festa Junina na Chácara do Idoso, para celebrar os aniversariantes do mês de junho. O espaço foi decorado com bandeirinhas coloridas e balões, produzidos na aula de artesanato da professora Nilza.
Administrado pela Secid, o espaço público oferece o ano todo, atividades, eventos e ações voltadas ao público a partir de 55 anos de idade. O intuito é contribuir no processo de envelhecimento saudável, no desenvolvimento da autonomia e de sociabilidades, no fortalecimento dos vínculos familiares e do convívio comunitário, além da prevenção de situações de risco social.
A festividade teve início com uma apresentação do professor Demétrio, que tocou grandes sucessos da música tradicional.
Logo após a abertura musical, os convidados puderam provar comidas típicas juninas — trazidos e feitos pelos próprios frequentadores —, resgatando a memória afetiva e o sabor das tradicionais festas de São João.
O palco do evento também contou com a apresentação dos grupos “Mistura Fina”, com os maiores sucessos da Jovem Guarda; “100% Sertanejo”, com um repertório de sertanejo raiz; e do “Trio Osmar, Maria Neide e Neidinha”, com os maiores clássicos das festividades juninas.
“Eu amo muito relembrar as músicas tradicionais de Festa Junina. Estar aqui é uma felicidade sem tamanho. Faço questão de participar de todas as atividades da Chácara do Idoso. Esse lugar nos devolve a energia”, declarou a frequentadora e cantora do trio, Maria Neide.
Já o encerramento contou com a apresentação dos alunos da aula de dança da professora Elisa, com a tradicional quadrilha junina.
