No local, no Centro da cidade, são oferecidos vários serviços específicos para a mulher sorocabana
Neste Dia das Mães, celebrado no domingo (10), a Prefeitura de Sorocaba preparou um presente especial para as mulheres sorocabanas. Foi inaugurado o Estação Mulher, um espaço customizado em um trailer, localizado na Praça da Bandeira, no Centro da cidade, onde estão disponíveis vários serviços e facilidades, exclusivos para o uso feminino.
No local, quem precisar pode fazer sua higiene pessoal, se maquiar, utilizar o fraldário ou o banheiro, para uso exclusivo das mulheres, com ar-condicionado, e ainda, se necessário, retirar um pacote de absorvente higiênico. Ou seja, mesmo estando na rua, a mulher sorocabana pode contar com um local que atende vários serviços de emergência, feito na medida exata para o seu bem-estar.
A localização, bem próxima ao maior terminal de ônibus urbano da cidade, também foi pensada estrategicamente, para facilitar o acesso de todas que precisarem.
A utilização é gratuita, disponível somente para mulheres. É uma iniciativa do poder público de Sorocaba, executado em parceria com empresa privada e sem ônus para a municipalidade. O objetivo é que, em breve, outros espaços como esse possam ser instalados também em outros endereços e regiões do município, podendo atender mais mulheres.
“Aproveitamos esse dia de homenagem às mães para inaugurar um projeto que foi pensado para oferecer conforto e bem-estar a todas as mulheres sorocabanas, de uma forma muito acessível a todas”, disse o prefeito Rodrigo Manga.
