A Prefeitura de Sorocaba promoveu, neste sábado (30) de manhã, no Paço Municipal, uma ação solidária que consistiu na troca de figurinhas por remédios excedentes, que estavam dentro do prazo de validade e já não eram mais utilizados.
O prefeito Rodrigo Manga compareceu na ação e também doou medicações. “Ao todo, foram seis caixas cheias de remédios que serão destinados às entidades sociais conveniadas com o Município. Neste clima de Copa do Mundo, nada melhor do que ser solidário e promover benefícios, bem-estar e mais saúde às pessoas”, ressalta ele.
Bernardo Luiz, de 11 anos, e seu amigo Murilo de Castro Gomes, de 10 anos, doaram 126 cartelas de remédios. “Minha mãe que nos ajudou a conseguir os remédios. Ela pediu para alguns amigos e agora teremos bastante figurinhas para completar o álbum”, conta Bernardo, feliz.
A ação foi possível devido a uma doação que o Poder Público recebeu da iniciativa privada, de 7 mil figurinhas, que foram distribuídas em livre demanda. Vale ressaltar que as medicações passarão por triagem de técnicos da Secretaria da Saúde (SES) antes de serem destinadas às instituições.
