O Núcleo de Educação Permanente (NEP) do Samu Sorocaba está realizando, ao longo de abril, um treinamento específico de primeiros socorros voltado aos servidores que atuam na Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), especificamente nos cemitérios municipais.
A capacitação tem como objetivo mitigar os riscos ocupacionais e garantir maior proteção ao usuário destes serviços nos casos em que sejam necessárias essas ações. Dentre os temas abordados, foram apresentadas as manobras de Heimlich, procedimento de emergência necessário para desobstruir vias aéreas em casos de engasgos graves.
O cronograma do treinamento, que é conduzido pelo enfermeiro do Núcleo de Educação Permanente, Leonardo Silva, ocorre nos seguintes locais e datas: dia 7 de abril, no Cemitério da Saudade; dia 14, no Cemitério Consolação; e no dia 23 de abril, no Cemitério Santo Antônio. Ao todo, 40 servidores estão sendo treinados.
