A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria do Turismo (Setur), abriu novas inscrições, nesta segunda-feira (27), para que escolas possam participar dos projetos educacionais Turismo Vai à Escola, Rolê e Descubra, neste segundo semestre. As iniciativas utilizam o turismo como ferramenta de aprendizagem, aproximando estudantes e professores da história, do patrimônio, da cultura e dos atrativos turísticos do município.
Desde o início de 2026, a Setur realizou 27 ações com escolas das redes municipal e estadual, levando conhecimento e experiências a centenas de alunos e educadores.
O projeto Turismo Vai à Escola promove palestras e atividades nas unidades de ensino, apresentando aos estudantes a importância do turismo para Sorocaba, englobando história, patrimônio cultural e potencial econômico.
Já o Descubra proporciona visitas guiadas aos principais atrativos turísticos do município, permitindo que os participantes ampliem o aprendizado de forma prática e interativa.
O projeto Rolê, por sua vez, oferece uma experiência de imersão voltada aos estudantes a bordo do ônibus turístico da Setur, incentivando a exploração dos atrativos da cidade e despertando o interesse pela história de Sorocaba.
“O objetivo desses projetos vai além de simples passeios. Eles possuem um caráter educativo, despertando nos participantes o senso de pertencimento e o conhecimento sobre a história da cidade. Alunos e professores acabam se tornando multiplicadores dessas informações, compartilhando o que aprendem com suas famílias e comunidades. Além disso, mostramos que o turismo é um importante motor de desenvolvimento econômico e um setor que oferece diversas oportunidades de trabalho e carreira”, destaca o secretário do Turismo, Hudson Pessini.
