A população poderá conferir, neste sábado (27), a Caravana Cultural que, nesta semana, levará atrações gratuitas ao bairro Ana Paula Eleutério (Habiteto), Zona Norte da cidade, das 15h às 20h. As atividades estarão disponíveis na Avenida Itavuvu, altura do nº 7.091, com apresentações circenses, praça de alimentação e atendimentos de serviços públicos.
Realizada pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Cultura (Secult), em parceria com o Douver Circus, a iniciativa tem como objetivo oferecer uma programação que integre lazer e cidadania, alcançando todos os públicos da cidade.
“A cada semana a caravana estará disponível em um ponto da cidade para garantir o acesso da população à arte e cultura. Esse é o compromisso da Secult para aproximar as famílias de atividades que oferecem mais lazer e qualidade de vida”, destacou o secretário da pasta, Thiago Delmonde.
A programação contará com oficinas esportivas e atrações do Douver Circus com o Palhaço Peteleco; Palhaço Mágico Batatinha Doce; e apresentações com personagens infantis, malabaristas e trapezistas. Uma feira de artesanato e empreendedores locais também estará disponível durante a Caravana.
Além das atividades culturais serão oferecidos atendimentos gratuitos e orientações dos seguintes serviços públicos: Médico na Praça, Exposição da Zoonoses e Projeto Cão Terapia da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM), com o cão Luck.
