O grupo Maria Fuxiqueiras participou, nesta quarta-feira (4), de uma atividade de artesanato alusiva ao Dia da Consciência Negra (20 de novembro), no Centro de Referência em Assistência Social (Cras) Nova Esperança.
Promovido pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria da Cidadania (Secid), o intuito foi de promover um momento de reflexão, valorização da cultura afro-brasileira e fortalecimento dos vínculos entre as participantes.
No encontro, as mulheres do grupo realizaram a customização de ecobags, utilizando a técnica do fuxico. A programação proporcionou a elas um espaço de criatividade, troca de experiências e expressão, por meio do artesanato.
O grupo Maria Fuxiqueiras se reúne semanalmente, às quartas-feiras, na unidade, para atividades artesanais, com o intuito de promover convivência, acolhimento e informação.
